One busy little girl!

Abbey is on the move! She is literally all over the house and into everything these days. Twice, I have caught her playing in the toilet water while I was in the shower. The good/bad thing about her knowing the word "no" is that I didn't have to jump out of the shower all covered in suds, but when I said "no!" she immediately pulled her hand out of the toilet water and into....her mouth! Yuck!! Today, she was busy unrolling the toilet paper while I was showering. Most of the time she loves to play peak-a-boo with the shower curtain or stand at the tub squealing at me. She is so fun. :)

Abbey LOVES our dogs. Every morning one of the first things we do is let Emmy and Trigger out of the laundry room. Abbey literally grabs the door to pull it open faster so she can see them and as soon as she does she lets out the biggest squeal. When I go into her room after she wakes up from a nap she is always standing in her crib and squeals in greeting. Emmy usually walks in after me and I think Abbey is more excited to see Emmy sometimes. She has also learned that both Emmy and Trigger will accept food from her. As soon as their little noses touch her hand she gives a belly laugh.

Abbey is saying "bye-bye," "dada," and "bah-ma (for mama)." She can wave, lay her head down, "shake-it-shake-it," dance, pat when you sing pat the Bible book, sniff and scrunch up her nose, "give it (anything in her hand) to mama", give kisses (mainly only to me or Blair!), give you a bite of her food, stand up and play hide & seek when you ask her to. She also understands "no" pretty well and "come here." It is amazing how much she has changed lately! Well, that is all of the "tricks" I can think of off the top of my head. I thought you KC grandparents and great-grandparents would appreciate that since you don't get to see her often.

Going up the stairs....

....is much easier than down.

Abbey loves to walk with her car.

Abbey love, love, loves to play in her tent. She rings the doorbell over and over and loves to open the door and crawl thru the tent.

She loves to push the piano around the room more than playing it.

It is crazy to me that at 10 months she already knows what to do with a cell phone.

She played so hard today and is exhausted.

  1. Isn't it amazing what they learn and how fast they learn it? Caroline has been "talking" on a cell phone since she was Abbey's age. It is funny what they notice us doing, huh? She's too cute Bec---and growing like a weed!
